I want to use images of people at shows. Bands, fans, etc. The website will be for the purpose of promoting all ages shows and for promoting the idea that all shows should be all ages, all the time in San Diego. This is something I've been wanting to start for a while now. And now I really want to make this a legitamet website/movement.

Art of Art Brewer

My initial reaction was that the photographer was interested in a wide range of subjects. I was impressed and happy to see pictures of everything from rockers to hipsters to pro surfers to athelets.
I selected this photographer because of the first picture I saw of the guy in front of the red hot rod. That caught my interest.
The pictures are either close ups of people or taken with the person sort of in the corner or side with the background showing something distant

My website blog

I found Dreamweaver to be pretty easy to use. For my next website though, I want to learn how to put in a background and make it look a little more higher quality. I also want to get away from my own trend of all-black websites. -_-;

The Che Cafe/Pokez

I want my restaurant to be modeled after the Che Cafe and Pokez. Both are vegan alternative restaurants (although the Che Cafe kitchen is only open part time) that also cater to the music scene by allowing bands to play. The Che Cafe has been a legendary venue in the undergound music scene here in San Diego (Wikipedia claims "screamo" music was started there) that continues to be a hot spot for bands and fans in the know. Pokez, a more recently open restaurant, offers vegan and non vegan mexican food and just opened a venue/club next door.

HTML

Well, I already was familiar with alot of the codes for HTML. What I found frustrating was everyone coming to me for help. I'm interested in taking what I've learned to the next level and learn how to create a website that looks professionally done. I want to learn how to make a website that looks like something along the lines of this.

Justin Renteria

Justin Renteria is a professional Illustrator. I like the website because every page is different somehow. The only thing that stays the same is the menu bar on the right. The most interesting page is his portfolio, where you can see some of his published and unpublished works.

Lauren Utter, fan of Swinging Utters?

Well its apperant she has spent some time around some dirty kids. Lauren Utter's works show that. Mostly they are drawings of her friends, with a few random portraits of Flickr users. Her style, though rough around the edges, shows their subjets enjoying life the way the like; chugging down 40s and making faces.

Her Flickr account has a few other interesting pictures, you might want to check them out.

This is only a test.
